July Newsletter
Topic of the month
This month our topic is ‘Transport’, the children will be learning about various different methods of transport, air transport, land transport, sea transport and rail transport. To support the children’s learning all rooms will be doing a variety of activates throughout the month.
Weather
The weather has warmed up and summer is here, please can parents provide their children with a summer hat, particularly as they may spend longer periods of time in the garden. We have provided all children with Nivea (factor 50 SPF), However if you wish for your child not to wear this sun cream can you please provide us with an alternative which must be labelled.
Spare clothes
If anyone has any children’s clothes that they no longer require we would greatly appreciate all donations.
Polite reminders:
• Toys from home
We kindly ask parents to avoid bringing toys from home as this causes upset amongst the children within the room also the nursery does not take responsibility for damage or loss for children’s toys from home.
• Clothing
We would like to remind parents please label your child’s clothing. This helps ensure that clothing does not go missing or taken home by another parent. We would also request for parents to provide sufficient amount of spare clothing for your child on a daily basis, as children participate in a variety of mess/creative activities to develop and expand their learning.
